I had this problem too. Whenever I struck certain chords or a Bb note
the springs would just sing. It was a REALLY simple fix that I
discovered.

Get some heavy rubberbands and stuff one INSIDE each trem spring so that
a little of the band is visible at each end of the spring..

The only concern is to make sure that the rubberband does not get
pinched between the coils of the spring as this would affect the tension
and thus the intonation.
