One of 'em is an Ohm's Law calculator, which allows you to put any two parameters in and solve for a third, and the other is a color-code engine, which lets you select a set of color bands and then reads out the resistor's value for you. (It can do both the 4- and 5-band systems, too.) This stuff is so automatic for me after all this time that I don't even think about it any more, but I reckon this will be a great help to the newbies on this NG, so here they are. The Ohm's Law Calculator is located at: http://www.micro-ohm.com/calculator.html The Color-Code engine is located at: http://www.micro-ohm.com/colorcode/rescolor.html While I'm at it, there's a really cool wire-gauge calculator on the Mogami site, which will tell you stuff like circular mils, metric/AWG equivalencies, resistance/foot/gauge, etc. This one's nifty, I use it all the time: http://www.mogami.com/e/cad/wire-gauge.html Lord Valve VISIT MY WEBSITE: http://www.nebsnow.com/LordValve I specialize in top quality HAND SELECTED NOS and current-production vacuum tubes for guitar and bass amps.
