Good luck. >Dave Lord Valve Speaketh: Nah, that circuit is entirely bogus. First off, a Champ needs to be loaded with 4 ohms, not 8. Second, all that's needed is a voltage divider...WTF is the cap for? Whether you leave the speaker connected or load the output with a resistor (4-ohm, 10-watt will be fine) all you need to do is use a 10/1 divider circuit...put a 1.5K resistor in series with the output, and use a 150-ohm resistor to ground right after the 1.5K. Output is taken from the junction of the 1.5K/150-ohm network. If you want adjustable output, put a 50K pot in parallel with the divider network and take the output from the wiper.
