I went by a local cab restorer/builder yesterday, it's called Armadillo
Amp works in Austin, TX, the guy's name is Will Dyke, (512)371-1092

I am not one to give out praise easily and quickly, but this guy's work
was 1st rate, dovetailed pine, immaculant finishes, etc...
and his prices are unbeatable.

he quoted me around 180.00 for an unloaded 2x12, closed back, covered,
built to my specs.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy one from the guy.
