Hi Vince,
I prefer using nail polish as originally thought of by Pat Missin & Bobbie
Giordano. Much quicker and easier to apply. I primarily stick to Lee
Oskars at the moment.

I don't use overblows & overdraws.... "X notes" I say! ... a part of my
playing, but I do use the method on my Lee Oskars anyway because of what it
does to them.

I have made and sent a Lee Oskar in Bb for overblows to Mike Peloquin as
agreed onlist ... the jury is still out, but I will be interested in whether
he thinks its worth handing to Levy to have a crack at. Any honest feedback
will be good - he's not jumping over the moon about it quite yet.... but
then he's spoiled with Filiskos. :)

I would like to find something more enduring than nail polish that doesn't
involve hours of intensive fine surgery to each reed & reedslot, and doesn't
involve lots of heat.

Cheers
G.

Quick check. How many out there use turbo tape? Do you like it. Give me some
pointers on positioning of the tape and your favorite type of tape. This has
been discussed in detail already, I just need to know you guys experiences
on it.

ATTN: to all people who don't understand what turbotape is. There is a long
discussion on it in the archives go to
