Concerning Larry Adler,
Picture a harmonica gathering. Larry Adler is riding down in an elevator with a "festival official". Only 2 other people in the elevator. A much respected player says to Adler (who is visibly nervous about being in such tight quarters with "other people"), something like "How ya doin Larry, lookin forward to your show" Adler says (while looking at festival official and NOT the querrying player) "Can't I even ride a lift without being bothered?"
If he had said that to me on the elevator, he sure would of looked funny playing the harp at that gig with one of my wing-tip shoes sticking half-way out of his butt!
Concerning Alannis Morrisette, The more she plays, the better I sound! Bill
