Calling a spade a spade is OK. However, as you know Glenn, this thread and
ones like it attract people who love to use or imply offensive language. It
is usually the same people and they rarely seem to have anything positive
or contributive to say.

Honest criticism is fine... but this, and all the other lists are for
worldwide, wide age group and both sex consumption... and also for long
term record of what is said. The mode of language of some in these
discussions is distasteful to say the least.

I believe that this bar room approach to 'criticism' does a positive
disservice to our instrument and paints a poor picture of the whole
community.
