For me, it was Jon's book about Stone and the Caveboys that turned on a light. OK, maybe it was just a glimmer, not a light, but after reading that it freed me up and I began actually improving after a LONG period of total stagnation.\ Then in the past couple of years, Harp-L, the Buckeye Harmonica Festival and SPAH have been responsible for me getting great help from such folks as Joe Filisko, Chris Michalek, Rob Papparozzi, Alec Drachman, Tom Albanese and others.
