Yeah guys don't expect to much from mainstream music in the quality
department. Though it has gotten a little bit better (Particularly in R&B
and
Bluegrass), know that quality is not a trademark of much of the music biz.
The cream does rise to top at times, but know that this business
unfortunately nowadays is driven by image not substance, so don't get yer
panties in a wad over this stuff. They are irrelevant to REAL music and will
always be irrelevant. Screw them, make good music and live. Thats all the
Music requires........

three points...

1)  if you have the correct key harp, your inability will not be as
apparent.

2)  more people than you think probably ~do~ consider her a bad player,
or at

least, not a good player.  since her songs don't focus on harp, it's
pretty

easy for non-players to get over it.

3)  from a purely business standpoint, what harmonica players would you

expect to see on television?  name ~any~ "real" harp who sells even
100,000

albums (and by "real," i mean someone who is known primarily for their harp

twice.
