And while we are naming the top guys in the field of Jazz harmonica let us not forget Bill Barrett (not to be confused with top teacher David Barrett). Bill is a monster LA harp player who plays blues, bebop, and avant garde jazz on the CX 12. Killer technical chops and heavy doses of blues toned feel. All of his CD's are great. Check out www.billbarrett.net for sound samples. Last summer I did a profile of him for AHN. If you missed it I'm willing to send it as an email attachment (just email me offline). Because of the market limitations which Richard Hunter refers to, I doubt that Bill will ever become famous but he at least ought to be famous among the harmonica world.
