three points...
1) if you have the correct key harp, your inability will not be as
apparent.
2) more people than you think probably ~do~ consider her a bad player, or
at
least, not a good player. since her songs don't focus on harp, it's pretty
easy for non-players to get over it.
3) from a purely business standpoint, what harmonica players would you
expect to see on television? name ~any~ "real" harp who sells even 100,000
albums (and by "real," i mean someone who is known primarily for their harp
playing). that would leave you with...john popper...once, maybe twice.
unfortunately, money rules, and those who aren't selling aren't likely to be
on tv (although folks do crop up...five blind boys from alabama with
musselwhite on letterman). if someone could just get n'sync to have harp on
a couple of tracks...
