Subject: R: Blues Junior Tube Swap

The two smaller tubes - the pre-amp ones - are the
ones to substitute. They are 12AX. I have a Pro Junior
(very similar amp) and I swopped for one 12AT and one
12AU. They have less gain and give me more control
with volume. I can get to 5/6 on the dial before
feedback kicks in, rather than 2.5. To remove the
tubes, just pull then downwards, gently...
