Douglas' point was that these tunes are too difficult for beginners,
and it's perfectly valid.

As a long time instructor, I agree. The worst thing you can do to a
beginner is to make them think that something WAY over their head is
something they should be able to play. They have enough problems
already without being made to think they're total morons, which is
what something that is _apparently_ beginner material (with circles
and arrows) but is in truth quite advanced would accomplish.

And the truth is, even if you tabbed this stuff out, it would still
be inaccessible to the beginner, simply because it's just too
difficult.

So no it's not a matter of keeping it from the beginner. It's a
matter that beginners cannot play advanced material.

I suspect you haven't heard Richard Hunters work. Or are you just
trolling?
