Yes there is written music before 1100, but nobody, as far as I've ever
heard, can figure out what it's supposed to sound like.
Greek music is all greek, so to speak.
That's why I said "decipherable music." That begins with the "measured
music" of the Paris School, circa 1100.
If your'e aware that anyone claims they can play any ancient written music
with certainty, do tell. All my sources say different.
