Seeing that those with perfect pitch are very rare (one in ten thousand), I don't see this as something meriting a lot of consideration. These things need to be tailored for the majority.
Just like left handers in a right handed world (I'm a leftie, too ;- ), we learn to deal with these things. In fact, a couple years back I bought left handed scissors, anticipating a great emancipation in paper cutting. And guess what? I can't use them! I've been using rightie scissors too long, and the lefties (excuse the pun) just don't cut it.
HOWEVER, leftie scissors are better for cutting packing and other wide adhesive tape (with the right hand), because they don't contact as much of the adhesive.
