I own, and am currently playing at this moment an EV 641 mic. if you are in
the market for a robust kind of Green Bullet honkier tone then this is your
mic. If you are looking for a softer, deeper kind of tone then I suggest
going with a crystal mic like the Biscuit mic or a JT-30. I enjoy the EV 641
for both my RI Bassman and my GA-5 (Blonde Gibson champ). Its solid
all-around mic and can usually be gottn for around $30-40 dollars. Don't pay
more than $50 for it.....
