Subject: Hey, it's a Huang!

Hi gang,

On a whim I picked myself up a Huang Star Performer
harp in D and am really quite impressed by the
thing. Much much nicer than I expected for the
price. Wonder why these aren't talked about more on
list.

Very nice, full-throttle tone... very well tuned
(octaves are right-on) and airtight as all getout!
Might just make this my gigging harp of choice.

Designed much like a Golden Melody, this is a
pretty solid harp, with rounded shape. Reedplates
are held with screws so I can adjust reeds as
needed. Tone a bit sweeter than the GM actually as
it appears to be in just intonation.

I have no idea about the longevity of this thing,
but if it lasts as long as my Hohner MS reedplates,
I might just spring for a full set. For $8 bucks a
pop this is a pretty damned nice little harp.

Anyone else using these guys? Gigging with them??
