Don't know about Will Scarlett (but does this guy have recorded works ?) but
Mike Turk sure did, as testified by his 1975 collaboration with Papa John
Kolstad "Beans Taste Fine". Not only did he overblow, but it sounds clean,
unsqueaky, and perfectly country blues. Blew my mind on the first track
solo.
