Subject: Re: Custom Harp Comparison

I think that this would prove difficult. I've personally avoided
commenting on several custon harmonicas I've bought because if you can't
say something nice, or you're damning with faint praise it's a can of
worms. It's also highly subjective and it changes with your
experience. I was furious with the last order of new stuff I got from
Joe. I had to stop myself from throwing them against a wall. About a
week later I they were my favourite harmonicas. Very different than his
early stuff and it took me a bit to figure them out. Don't worry I did
discuss this with Joe so it's not like I'm talking behind his back.
Anyhow I don't think you're going to get many honest or qualified
opinions but hey I may be surprised. The other problem would be
customer service issues. I've seen it in the past, someone's miffed
because their harmonica order wasn't shipped and the customiser isn't
answering queries then it gets made public on the list and quickly gets
ugly. I've seen this a couple of times. You can suss out the truth
regarding custom harmonicas you just can't do it in public. fjm
