I have some (brief) experience playing through 2 Reverb Rockets, and
IMO, these are fine guitar amps but poorly suited for amplified harp as
they are very clean and not prone to distortion. Why this should be the
case, I'm not quite certain as most Reverb Rockets in this series,
R-112, R-12A, R-12R & R-212, came with 7591power tubes, which usually
work/sound great for harp in other amps, such as my Premier Twin 8, for
example. However, others onlist have generally provided very good to
great comments about the Ampeg Jet (J-12R) for harp. You can read
