Singer-songwriter, guitar and harmonica player Bob Dylan was born on this day in 1941. Regardless of anybody's opinion of his musical abilities, Dylan is the undisputed leader of the the Folk music movement that emerged in the early 1960's. It should be noted that Dylan's first recordings were as a session harmonica player, recording with Carolyn Hester, Harry Belafonte, Big Joe Williams and others.

Has anyone else heard any of that early studio stuff? Any comments?
