Kinda agree with you on that. With new high tech digital feedback
suppressors
such as the Behringer Shark going for $70 from discount music houses it's
hard
to justify that kind of money. I did notice that the input is designed for
use with high impedance mics which is nice. Unfortunately most of the
digital
devices even though they have high impedance inputs, the actual working
impedance is like 5K or 10K ohms. Though this is considered high impedance
it
is still very low for crystal/ceramic type mics. These kind of mics should
actually be called very high impedance mics, they usually function best with
an input impedance of at least 1 mega-ohm, if not even higher.
