Subject: Re: Best Small Amps

The best small amps in my opinion are:

1. The Kalamazoo Model 1- Nothing beats this amp in size and wattage, all
you
need is a better speaker (Jensen preferably), and a good retubing and you
got
the best little small amp on the block. Mics preferred - Astatic Biscuit
Mic,
EV 641. The Model 2 of the K-zoo I hear is just as good.

2. Gibson GA-5 Blonde 50's - When it coomes to 8" speaker amps this one is a
great all around work horse. This is sweet little champ has nice break up,
and tone and is very light to carry. The K-zoo is still better though! (Mics
preferred Shure 533SA, EV 641)

Thats all I have time for.

Hope this helps!

Andrew
