I recently replaced a Jensen P12S with a Weber C12N-H. I told Ted Weber the sound I was looking for (not real dirty and a big low end) and it's the one he recommended.
I usually play a CR/JT-30 through a Lafayette PA head with this speaker, which is in a homemade cabinet. The Weber sounds great - it's alittle slow to breakup but has great lows and a nice edge at stage volumes. It's much louder and punchier than the Jensen (which has no structural damage but probably high mileage). The C12NR-H is supposed to break up earlier and I'd like to be able to A/B them to hear the difference.
I don't have any other 12" speakers to compare it to but I'm very pleased with the Weber.
