OK, southern New England Harp-Ler's, here's the scoop on the Bluestime show at the Connecticut Daffodil Festival:
Bluestime will be the headline act Saturday night, showtime starts at 7:30PM, one set till around 9, Roger McGuinn of Byrds fame will be the main supporting act starting around 6 PM. There will be around a dozen bands playing prior all day previous to the main show. No bands I think of any harp interest though that I know of. (I think next year Richard Hunter, Garry & Moodswingers, Five Wise, Ryan Harrt & Bluehearts, The Bernadettes and other Conn. harp bands should work on changing that!)
The location of the show is at Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT, easily accessible from I-691. Best of all, it's free!!!
Don't know about the daffodils though, with our abnormaly warm winter and early spring, I think all the daffodils have already bloomed, they may have to change it to the Tulip Festival :-)
I'm giggless this Saturday night, so I think I'm going, maybe see some of you there, Don D.
