Uh , no , that's not it.
I love harp music as much as any.
The original Harp CDs post was
about the harp work's quality and consistensy
within a CD. Hence value for money.
I compared jazz to harp music in that context.
An example is that from the records I have
when listening to jazz , I play the whole album
like I do with Sonny Rollins' "Way Out West"
or with Dave Brubeck's "Time Out"
whereas I tend to listen to CDs selectively
compiling all of my harp discs into eclectic collections.
This is something , if you consider the fact that
I happen to have jazz albums bought 10 years ago
that I listen to thoroughly when I also have harp albums
gotten a month or two back that I don't play much except
from a few tracks per cd , transfered on a copy.
This renders some of my harp cds dusty , yet I will never
part with any of it. But when I got it , was for the experience
I'd have from the whole music. That is my complaint.
