Btw , check out amazon.com sometime.
Mike P's cd is on sale
on anazon's Z shop used.
Someone didn't quite have that subtle taste.

I still expect mine to be here any day now.
I'm also about to get Mike Turk's
A Little Taste Of Cannonball.
Mike Turk with an organ trio from Italy ,
playing jazz from the late 50s early sixties.
It'a tribute to Cannonball Adderley
(and Milt Jackson if I'm not wrong).

I will post how do I like 'em even though
these are not new releases.
What I'll post here is not going to be a rated review.
Just an impression. As for the "name that artist" game
isn't that a bit impractical ? I just said Szlapczynski is great.
and just round the corner I run across someone
who says about a much discussed artist with a difficult name
that as a matter of fact is a dud. Opinions vary. Tastes Vary.

In almost every harp-l reading break , the way usually discussions go
make me remember two things : one is Robert Duval on "The Natural".
(Not to mention the part with the thunderbolt etched bat).
Or a story from Lucky Luke comic book ,
where pitiful drunkards are looking
for a poor fella to hang on a tree just to get out of their rut.
A peddler supplied the booze and three ropes for the hanging
of just one fella and rooks the towners afterwards by selling tinny
rope bits as high as it gets for lousy lucky charms.
