Harmonica influences:

Sonny Terry influenced me more than any other harp player. Next would be
Paul Butterfield, then Mel Lyman.

Best living blues harp player:

I never heard Kim play. Magic Dick really nails the little Walter sound,
Charlie Musselwhite adds a certain sheen and virtuosity, so I guess at
that level, it's very subjective. Annie Raines has the tone and the soul.
James Montgomery isn't too bad and Johnny Hoy is a force to be reckoned
with.

Is harp played in reggae:

Boogie on Reggae Woman-Stevie Wonder

Here's my music theory question. C harp. Draw bend on the 5, straightened
the note out, bend it down, and then blow into the 5 hole. Doesn't that
work out to playing E F E E? The bend draw doesn't sound like an E to me.
Also, why would I be playing an E in a blues scale in G?

I do the same thing on the 6 hole. So I'm playing Ab A Ab G. What's an Ab
and an A doing in a G blues scale?
