Just to give you an idea of how extensive this attack was:
Many people couldn't make it to my cousins wedding Saturday because of air travel restrictions. There I talked with a Cousin whose 26 year old son was on the 60th floor of the World trade center when it was hit, he got out alive.
My neighbors mother (two houses down the street) was on the plane the that hit the World trade center.
And I'm just a random New Englander.
Yet the wedding went on and was beautiful. There is a classic joke that the streets in America are paved with gold. Well they might as well be, this really is a very wealthy country. Less than a week later everything is working again. I bet that sooner than you have time to think about it something new and even more majestic will be erected in place of the World trade center towers.
In a sense I was prepared for this by my father's murder. 5000 murders doesn't hurt anymore than one.
