Once again I appreciate the concern for us in NYC although the generalized invective scares me. I am an RN living in Manhattan. Some of my daughter's classmates are missing parents. A fire captain living 3 floors above me is on the missing list presumed dead. Years ago when my wife betrayed me I was a walking wound. The only thing that approximated my feelings was expressed in the dark through my harp. When I worked 12 hr. shifts in the ICU the first thing I would do when I got home was turn my amp on and blow out the intensity of the day. My point is this: emotional intensity has a seamless relationship with my music. It is my heart speaking and therefore not a digression at all. I only hope I can feast on my life while I have it.
