One is not necessarily any better than the other. The magnet type usually
affects the efficiency of the speaker, thus altering tone characteristics.
Typically, alnico magnets are not as strong as ceramic and make the speaker
less efficient. As a result alnico speakers tend to "break up" easier than
ceramic ones. If you like a more overdriven sound then go for alnico, if you
prefer a "tighter" sound go for ceramic. The "tighter" sound will provide a
bit more clarity compared to alnico.

Please note, these are just my personal views on the difference between
alnico and ceramic speakers. (I have purposely avoided any technical info
regarding speaker efficiency.)
