Subject: re: crom/diatonic

I have never been able to find the limits of anything with out pushing them.
If your a chromatic player, play.
If your a diatonic player, play.

Just because a song may work out better on a different instrument doesn't
mean you should play it that way.

Diatonic players on this list talk a lot about being able to play a certain
piece on their instrument. Then someone says you should play it on some out
of contexts instrument. It would seem to have the same level of tact as
entering a bicycle in a foot race. There are places you can race your bike,
just not in a foot race. And say, if you win a foot race on a bicycle, who
cares???

My sampler allows me to play any piece the best I have ever heard.
Do I win?
Peace, Capt. M
