I was of course saddened to hear of his death,
but even more so after I got out my lone Adler
CD, Larry Adler, Maestro of the Mouth Organ. What
a talent and what technique! An amazing, amazing
player.
I then dropped by Tower Records local store
hoping to find more, but of course Adler is too
small a niche in the music biz to interest them.
They might have CDs on their Web site, haven't
looked yet.
RIP, Mr. Adler, hope you are playing in that
heavenly band that Mr. God is a fan of. And hope
He doesn't have a girlfriend who sings ...
