Well the promised Paul Butterfield photos are up at my new site www.rarerockphotos.com
They were take in 1968 by photographer Sal Manzi. I printed them from the original negatives, archivally processed and matted. There are 3 5x7s in the set, I cannot break them up . Pics of Paul are rare and I spent alot of time in the darkroom tweaking these to make a frameable tribute to Paul. They are stage shots with no flash making them artfully grainy with some action blur adding to the live feel of the photos.
Please do not ask for comps, deals or how much for one. Pauls immediate family are the only ones who will receive freebies.
The photographer was more interested in having me work on the Hendrix shots (also up on the site) not wanting me to "waste too much time" on the PB shots.
WHAT!!?? The major influence in my becoming a harp player!? I spent most of my time bringing this rare find to life. Hope you like them!
Stop by www.rarerockphotos.com let me know what you think.
Thanks for allowing this on harpl! Pretty much the only place it could be appreciated....:-)
