Subject: more bending

i wanted to add something to the question about bending. as for advice, i
think the answers so far have covered that.
one thing i can't figure out is how to hit a bend (or start on a bend)
without playing loudly. is this just a matter of experience/ability (as i
suspect it is) or does it just take more power (resulting in more volume) to
get bends?
