An interesting band that I've been listening to lately is "Elliott and the Untouchables" with Mike "Naz" Nazarenko on harp. They are from Columbia, South Carolina.
There CD "Both Ends Burnin" is great (I love the song "Life Without You" (not real upbeat, but a cool blues song). "Act Like You Love Me" is great too.
Their new live CD "Smokin the Blues" is really good too. "Jumpin' Jelly" off this CD is a great upbeat song.
Naz is a great harmonica player, and I really enjoy listening to him and the other Untouchables (thank you Hal Iwan for turning me onto this band !)...
Here's their website:

Some of more good upbeat songs, off the top of my head...
Pawnshop Bound by William Clarke Goodbye Little Girl by Gary Primich Company Man by Gary Primich Slap You Silly by Gary Primich I'm Tore Down by Norton Buffalo (off the new King of the Highway CD) Let Me Be Your Man by Norton Buffalo Little Bitty Pretty/Rockin Robin by Rod Piazza My Last Meal by Tom Ball and Kenny Sultan My Six Reasons by Tom Ball and Kenny Sultan Tater Pie by Tom Ball and Kenny Sultan
Enjoy !
