This is from Bill Romel's "Custom Craft Harmonicas" site [http://home.earthlink.net/~romel/]:
"Precisioned Machined Silver Plated Brass Bodies, $57.50. MS Reed Plates available All Keys. Or, any reed plate style of your choice, Marine Band, Golden Melody etc. The Jewel of Diatonic harmonica systems."
I haven't contacted Bill to see if he, in fact, meant that he makes a replacement comb for the GM, or only if the GM plates could be mounted on his comb, but would require different covers. I know Bill also hand machines combs from Lucite, and perhaps could be persuaded to make them for the Golden Melody. I have no affiliation with Bill, other than really admiring the quality of his work.
Does the comb from the Huang GM knock-off, the Star Performer, fit the GM, and if so, is it any better or worse than the GM comb?
