While doing research for another book, I recently came across the story of Ziggy the Elephant. Ziggy was one of the star attractions of Singer's Midget Circus during the 1930's, smoking cigarettes and playing the harmonica. Ziggy was yanked from performing and placed in permanent residence in a zoo after killing a Marine Band trombonist. Ziggy's earthy remains are on display at Chicago's Field Museum.
It is not known whether Ziggy played Le Riff on the 3-6 or the 6-9.
That's all I have for today. Have fun and practice.
