Tom,

I was at that concert. It was, without a doubt, the most exciting single
night of music I ever experienced. Talk about a high energy concert! The
crowd was incredibly appreciative and showed it. Everyone played at least
one encore. I remember Duane saying to the audience that they had never
played a concert like this. From the almost humble way he said this, you
could tell he was totally sincere about this.

We went in the Fillmore around 11:00 p.m. When we left, it was 6:30 in the
morning and the sun was shining brightly. As we were walking in the East
Village, we saw the Allman's limo several times, just cruising the area and
smiling and waving to the people.

To the best of my knowledge, no recording of this concert has ever been
released, even as a bottleg. If you ever come across any such recordings,
please let me know.
