Dear Harpellers,
Well it was quite a tour in Ireland and the UK, and Kenny and I are safely
home now. Happy to say that all the gigs went wonderfully, and also to
report that the Guinness strike was settled before we arrived. :)

Crossing the border between Eire and Northern Ireland, we noticed the
border guards flagging us down; so naturally enough I rolled down the
window to speak to them when **whoooosh!** suddenly the car was sprayed
from all four sides with disinfectant for Foot and Mouth Disease. With the
window down, Kenny and I were instantly 'disinfected,' much to the
amusement of the Irish border guards. Hmmmm... one can only hope it wasn't
DDT.

In any event, just wanted to mention that whilst in London we did two
"live" songs plus a bit of chat on Paul Jones' BBC2 radio show, which will
air on May 31st at 8PM UK time (Noon Pacific time.) Since this is also
webcast, folks from anywhere in the world could listen to it...

For now at least we're home, resuming CA gigs for about 10 days, then it's
off to Texas to play the Kerrville Folk Festival. Hope to see some of you
at one gig or another, and hope all of you are well.

So now that I'm resubscribed: Did I miss anything juicy? :)

best wishes and cheers,
Tom Ball
