Subject: Re: antique/used harps

Hi, I'm essentially a beginner, I've played some, but
really haven't tinkered or reapired my harps much, so
I had a question for the group.

In general, I figured it was a pretty bad idea to play
a used harp, for health reasons at least. But I do see
some neat harps here and there at antique shops. Is it
possible to take apart a harp, clean/disinfect, etc.,
and play it, and if so, do you think it's advisable?
Just curious what the opinions were out there.

Thanks,

Jason C.
