FWIW, I have a harp called "The Concert Master", which is essentially the
same as this, although it is of a lot lower quality than I would expect
from Suzuki. It is made in India, although it is copyrighted (1980) to one
B Shackman of NY. The harp itself is basically a cheap Marine Band clone
with inferior reeds and a very rough plastic comb. It does, as you say, lend
itself to some pretty nice tonal effects.
