Subject: Getting a Hohner fixed

I bought a Golden Melody a couple of months ago and
hated it because it wasn't at all airtight. It seemed
i could hear my breath blowing around the harp more
than i could notes. so i went back to my special 20.
yesterday i received another golden melody as a gift
and i was amazed at how much better it was than my
older one.
so my question is: can i send the old one to hohner
and ask them to make it more airtight, even for a fee?
judging from the gift i received, the old harp has to
be below their standards. their website doesn't have
any info about getting harps repaired or fixed.
i've read the threads about using micropore and such
to tighten a harp, but i ruined a special 20 once
doing that, and i don't want to try it again.
i'd appreciate any suggestions.
thanks much.
