Subject: Minor key harps

Hello Kyle

To answer your questions, yes I play songs in the minor keys every
chance I get. Unfortunately I can't help you with tabs for Summertime or
for that matter any song. I wasn't kidding when I said that for me
intellectual activity and harp playing are mutually exclusive!
Obviously I'm new to Harp-l. I find it fascinating to read all the
posts on the incredibly technical aspects of harp playing. My approach
to harp'n is completely intuitive. I've been playing for 33 years and
have never learned a song, I just play as if the harp was my voice. The
upside is when I'm "on" lots of emotion is expressed, the downside is
I'm uaually but not always on.
There's another down side, I can't tell anyone how I play what I play.
I plan on going to the S.P.A.H. convention this year and I'm looking
forward to meeting other rabid harpsters. Hopefully between the
convention and harp-l some of the technical stuff will rub off and
someday I'll be able to answer questions like yours.
