Just a reminder about next Monday’s LA Harp Jam. The jam will be graciously hosted, as usual, by the Herve Laurent Group and we will have a special guest appearance by chromatic genius and daredevil Bill Barrett and the "Unmentionables". Bill Barret is highly regarded for his excellent blues and jazz stylings. This is a terrific chance to get to see Bill for your listening pleasure and have a chance to play as well. We will start up right at 8:30 and we hope to get enough of you up there on stage to make this a truly memorable occasion. We want to hear from all our harp players of any level. We have some special guests in the band to accommodate just about any style! So, don’t be bashful, don’t forget to bring your harps and be ready to play ;-).
The jam is at the Cock & bull Restaurant located at: 2947 Lincoln Blvd (South of Ocean Park Blvd) Santa Monica, CA
The Cock & Bull serves food from the British Isles and has a terrific assortment of British beers. The kitchen closes around9:00, so get there a little early if you are bringing an appetite! We will start the band up around 8:30 and go til about 11:00 or so. You never know who is going to show up, so there may be some other surprises as well ;-). I look forward to seeing you all there.
