Subject: Greenhouse Effect

Every so often (actually more often than not) I leave my case o' sandwiches
in the car during the work day. Now that summer is here, you can imagine how
hot it gets in there. Is this a hangin' offense? I'm starting to notice that
my Special 20's are not staying so special for any length of time. Of course,
the ugliest screech happened when laying down some tape. I just gazed at the
band with the "I meant to do that look... after all, it was a Blues Traveler
type tune.

I know that intense heat will affect reed response but will it actually
shorten the lifespan of my harps? If so, no need to schedule a
rescue-intervention as I've realized the err'of my ways.
