Subject: Amp Question

Hello harplers,
I'm storing an amp for my friend Mike Rubin while he is away doing his gig
on Broadway. Out of curiosity I pluggged in and played through it and really
liked the sound except for some buzzing. I looked this thing over and here
is what I found.
It is a Fender Bassman 50 head. Serial # A68586. Someone named D. Ledferd
has stenciled his/her name on it.
Rhe tubes are(in order of appearance) 2 6L6GC's a 12AT7 and 3 7025's.
Both the 6L6's are microphonic (one far worse than the other).
The cabinet is a Blues DeVille tweed 4x10 configuration. The speakers have
no name brand but are marked on the magnets (which appear to be of the 20-30
oz. variety)
10883, 8 ohm, GLI.
One of the speakers was very loose in the cab. Probably part of the buzzing
problem.
The wiring is in need of some cleaning up and patching or replacing.
My questions are:
Can anyone ID this amp head?
Is the tube configuration correct?
Can anyone ID the speakers?
And finally, other than tube replacement and wiring corrections, what can I
do to make this amp into a reliable, usable piece?
As always, Thanks in advance,
Regards-Tim
