Subject: V-M amp what,where,how

I have a V-M amp model no.160 made in benton harbor michigan. it has two6v6s and two 12ax7s and one 5y3gt rectifier tube. the speaker is a 8 inch alnico 5 jenson .it also has a tone, phono, and microphone knobs. and it has two inputs one pickup input [looks like r.c.a type] and one micophone input.the tube chasie is mounted on plywood that slides in and out of the speaker cabinet with a 25 foot cord so you can put the speaker on stage and the amp else where.the amp sounds great with a green bullet mic in a small room i`m not shure about a large place against drums, ect = the tubes are G.E.s origanls ? i was wondering could i change tubes to [boogie, groove, sovtec] to get better tone. could i replace the 12ax7s for 12at7s and the 5y3gt for something else.and are there anyother mods that can be done to get it to break up easer.would a fender reverb tank help with volume, tone.? also i heard of using another speaker cabinet f!
or a monitor how is this done.i`m not sure of the wattage of the V-M 30 watts? if anyone knows of this amp or knows someone with some info like what years they were made, what they were made for,if they are a collectors item, and the value. please help! ps.what does V-M stand for [voice of music / victor motorola] ??
