Subject: Filisko

I need to hear from those who have one. JF builds custom harps from LO's,
Special 20's and Marine Band's. First, you have to understand that my favorite
harp is the Golden Melody. If JF built from these, I wouldn't have a problem
in my selection. LO runs a very close second. Marine Band's are out of the
question, I just don't care for them. Special 20's are fine, but I hear that
the reed life is short compared to the LO.
Now, I suspect that when JF does his mastery, all of the instruments are about
equal except for the way they fit in your mouth. If this is so, then choosing
between the LO and Special 20 is going to be a coin flip for me. I'm very easy
on harps. I don't overblow or overdraw, I don't know how. I've been playing
only a year. Why, you may ask, does a guy who's been playing such a short time
want with a Filisko? Actually, I'm going to order two, because at my age I
don't deny myself anything. Anyway, you players that have, please help me
choose.........Kenny
