Subject: preamp tube subs/feedback

<it myself? Will this not alter the tone of my amp? What effect does changing
the amplification factor have? How do I do this? Thanks,Tinus Delft,
Nederland>>
No...not hard to do, and subbing preamp tubes will not harm the amp. What it
does is lower the volume your preamp tubes send to your power tubes. Simply
pull out your 12AX7's and try something else in the same socket.
(from Tom Ellis:) <
The best place I've found to get tubes on the internet is--> d~oodnet.com
(Dan Nelson)He has hundreds of 5963's (amp factor 21). $1.00+Postage each.
Pulls, tested, boxed w/30 day warranty.Sent on approval-You see before you
pay.
Just experiment, and find the tubes and sound that work for you.
Merry Christmas!
